" Recycle Flesh "

(Enamel on paper - 6.35cm x 8.89 cm)

After reciving a comment in one of my works, by the man (Coop) that is behind the project called "A Patcwork of Flesh" i decide to participate in his vision.

Coop is from U.K. and his creating "a gallery of Frankenstein Monster artist trading cards", in different styles and in many different media from artists over the world, which is online now and growing, and will possibly be featured in an exhibition gallery at some point. This is my submission, from Gallery 24.

The inspire foundation of this work was related to some particular aspects, the first one is based on a plant and is cereal, the Wheat, becouse his structure, colour and the cycle of the bread always had charm me...The second thing that inspire me to do this work was a music called " la' Nvidia" from Der Feurkreiner an italian music project in the field of Neo-Folk Industrial.

The idea for this work is related with mine little "fetich" with old Gas Mask from World War I and W.W.II., and make a connection with low level of air quality in the big Urban Centers. So Masks and Pollution are a very Good friends...

Some Art Works, are made in a few hours or days, others have a long process in is creation and investigation, this is the case.The Original idea, had comes to me inspired on a old bathroom and is higher window, unhappily i lost the first sketches, maybe they are now in a old box too...

Any work of Art, starts with a image that we see inside our head, or else, the inspiration comes after we see something on our real world, that attract our eyes.This work is a fusion of this two elements. One day, i passed through a abandoned old factory, and near there, i see some old trucks that capture my atention. I made some sketchs and take some shots with my camera, and the ideas becomes to emerge...

One of the principal’s things that I learn when i was Study Arts, is the habit to draw a lot and bring with me always a Sketchbook, in my opinion anyone with the few interest in Draw or Painting, must have to acquire this custom.
